ForCHILDREN (Australia) Inc over the past 10 years has raised over $200,000 as a result of:

• donations;
• successful applications for grants;
• Annual Golf Days;
• NHArchitecture’s team ‘Osso to Broome’ bike ride (August - September 07);
• Banquet Auction organised by Linda and Mark Edwards (13 October 07);
• Fund Raising Lunch, Dr George Tippett, Guest Speaker, West Brighton Club, (23 August 09);
• Mister Whiskers performed at a Fund Raising lunch at the West Brighton Club (14 February 2010);
• Scotch College Social Services Auxiliary has donated to ForCHILDREN to enable the Committee to support projects listed below;
• Rilka Warbanoff is supporting and promoting our organisation through lunches and dinners that she hosts as part of her ‘real food with Rilka’ gourmet cooking experiences. (April 2010);

Projects

• Ron O’Dwyer’s Breakfast Club program in disadvantaged schools (2003 – 2004);
• Doveton Secondary College in the purchase of books for their VCE class(2006);
• Establishment of Southern Chances Program auspiced by Connections Uniting Care (2006) with additional funding in 2007;
• Funding towards Chances For Children, Mallee Family Care and Western Chances (2007);
• Yiyili Aboriginal Community School, Halls Creek, W.A. (2008) – connection originated through the NH Architecture’s team bike ride. In 2010, with a donation from the Scotch College Social Services Auxiliary, we have been able to continue our on-going support;
• Establishment of a school and library at the Goodwill Social Work Centre in Madurai, South India (2008) on-going support;
• Seed funding towards the establishment of OzChild’s Chances to Shine program enabled through support from the Scotch College Social Services Auxiliary (2010);
• Working with OzChild, Anglicare and the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare planning the I.F.C.W. World Forum in Melbourne (Sept 2011);
